The terms that govern your use of this site and the tours we run.

1. Introduction
Welcome to Barnowl Adventures. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the services we offer. By accessing or using our site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our website.
2. Using this website
You agree to use this site lawfully, and in a way that does not restrict anyone else's use of it. You must not use it in any way that damages it or impairs its availability, nor for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
No malicious content. You must not use this site to store, transmit or distribute any virus, trojan, worm, keystroke logger or other malicious software.
No automated collection. Systematic or automated data collection, including scraping, data mining and harvesting, is not permitted without our written consent. Search engine indexing is.
No direct marketing. Data collected from this site may not be used for direct marketing of any kind.
Accurate information. The details you give us through this site, on an enquiry or a booking, must be true, current and complete. We arrange your tour from them.
3. Your booking account
Signing in to your booking is done with the email address you booked on, and a code we send to it. Keep access to that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can see your booking.
We may suspend or close a booking record where we have reason to believe it is being misused, and we will tell you if we do.
4. Tour information and pricing
We aim to describe our tours and their prices accurately. Distances, climbing, grades and dates are drawn from our own route data and can change as a route is re-scouted or a road closes.
We do not warrant that every detail, including availability and pricing, is always current. Where an error affects a booking you have already made, we will contact you and offer you the choice of the corrected arrangement or a full refund.
5. Health and fitness requirements
Fitness level. Our tours require a certain level of fitness. Please make sure you are physically fit to undertake the tour you book.
Medical conditions. Inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Travel insurance. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. It should cover personal injury, medical expenses and repatriation.
6. Travel documents and visas
Passports and visas. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport and the necessary visas for the tour.
Other documentation. Carry any other required documentation, such as vaccination certificates, where applicable.
7. Itinerary changes
Alterations. While we strive to adhere to the itinerary, changes may occur due to weather, road conditions or other factors. We reserve the right to alter the tour itinerary as needed.
Substitutions. If a significant change is necessary we will inform you as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements or a full refund.
8. Payments, cancellations and refunds
Prices are inclusive of GST. A booking amount reserves your place and the balance follows the published instalment schedule.
Cancellations, refund eligibility and the timescale for processing a refund are set out in full on our refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Liability
Responsibility. Barnowl Adventures is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage to personal property. You participate at your own risk.
Third-party suppliers. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, including hotels and transport providers.
Limits. To the extent permitted by law, Barnowl Adventures is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising out of your use of this website, including loss of profits or data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Disclaimer
This website is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, secure, or free from errors.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Barnowl Adventures against any claim, liability, loss or reasonable legal cost arising from your use of this website in breach of these terms.
12. Conduct and behaviour
Code of conduct. All participants are expected to behave in a manner respectful to other participants and to local communities. We reserve the right to remove any participant who causes disruption or harm.
Compliance. Adhere to all local laws and regulations during the tour.
13. Links to other websites
This site links to websites we do not control, including our payment gateway and our social accounts. We are not responsible for their content or their practices, and following those links is at your own risk.
14. Intellectual property
Content use. All content on this website, including text, images and logos, is the property of Barnowl Adventures and protected by copyright. You may not use any of it without our express permission.
15. Privacy
Data collection. We collect the personal information necessary to book and operate our tours. It is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
Data sharing. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services, or as required by law.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the date they were last changed is shown at the foot of it.
17. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, India.
